I have a group of friends back in Toronto who get together every year to watch and fill out Oscar ballots. We are now doing the event Transcanada. As well, The Reel Society, of which I am a founding member, is meeting today to discuss the potential winners, over bubbly of course. I went to Library Square today to be part of the crowd welcoming the next winter Olympics to Vancouver. It was fun to be a part of and they were giving out amazing pieces of carrot cake from the largest cake I've ever seen. It was delicious. If we hadn't been talking about 2010 enough already....
