Great Software

November 15th, 2005
I recently downloaded a great program recommended by www.pacificit.ca. It's called www.browster.com and it allows you to look at a page without clicking on it and leaving the page you are in. Great to have a sneak peek to see if a site is worth clicking to. Saves a lot of time especially when you are doing searches and it's free. Check it out.

Demand For Housing

November 12th, 2005
Consumer demand for housing will remain strong next year. Great Place to Work

October 31st, 2005
Just read an article in 24 hours that lists the top 100 employers in Canada. Over a dozen of them are here in the lower mainland. It mentions that there is a trend towards innovative workplace practices such as time off for elder care, retiree benefits and salary top up for compassionate leave.  Also, it was noted that there is a strong connection between an employer's charitable work and ho ...

Real Estate UP,UP,UP

October 27th, 2005
I had an interesting conversation the other day with a couple of veteran realtors regarding the Vancouver Real Estate Market. Everybody felt there were several factors that will keep the Vancouver market strong. Canada is considered one of the top countries and Vancouver one of the top three cities in the world in regards to quality of life. Vancouver's buildable land is finite. Mountai ...
